Just poppin in...

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! I worked and then just hung out with friends and the hubby. And played on the computer, as usual lol. I've been sloooowly working on a collab with one of our wonderful Sunflowers at SUN. Sunflowers are our "designers in training" so to speak. Crystal was the one I was lucky enough to work with and we had a lot of fun. I've been so busy that it took me forever but she was a great sport about it lol. Anyway our kit is FINALLY in stores, along with other kits made by Sun Designers and Sunflowers. Here's a preview of ours:
Crystal picked the lovely colors and got the idea going and I just went with the flow. I really like how it turned out. :) Go grab it in the store by clicking here!!
Well the hubby and I found a place to live. I don't know if I mentioned this before? I've been so scattered lately... so much going on at once! It's a 2 bedroom, 2 bath duplex. It's got all tile throughout, good for the hubby's wheelchair since he always messes up carpet. The living room is rather large too, as well as the master bedroom. Justin's only thing he wanted was a large living room and I wanted the large bedroom so we're both happy now. We'll be taking our time moving over the next month. I'm NOT thrilled about packing but I love unpacking and decorating. I'm going to do some repainting as well and will probably do that next week before we move our stuff in. Other than that nothing new going on at home. Just busy busy busy working!!
I've got to run now (I'm at work but Zachary is watching a movie so I had a free minute). Don't forget to stop by Sun and check out the freebies we have in the gallery from Project Sunshine! It will be going on for the next 3 weeks as we search for new designers to join our store :)

Worn Paper Freebie

Good afternoon! I was gone all day looking for houses with my hubby. We're actually just looking for a house to rent instead of this small apartment we're in but we couldn't find ANYTHING that was for rent... they are all for sale. So blah! We're going to keep looking though. I've got to leave and go to work (so we can actually afford a house lol) but I do have a freebie for ya! Hope you enjoy:

Oh and anyone looking into selling at a new store or someone who wants to give designing a try check out the Top Secret designer contest we have going on at Sun. The first assignment will be given out (by me!) Friday (tomorrow). It's seriously going to be a lot of fun and we can't wait to get some new faces in our store! Guess that's it for now... I better go get dressed for work! Later! :)

Ugh!

I was in the middle of a super long post yesterday and got interrupted and in the process lost all of it :( I'm at work though so this is a short one. SUN has some exciting things happening right now and a fabulous sale going on for DSD! Check it out:
I have so much going on right now in real life and in the scrapping world so I'll be back later to update! Sorry I know I'm a horrible blogger lately! :(

New Stuff at Sun!!

So how is everyone doing? Fantabulous I hope! Yeah... that's a word now lol I stole it from my husband :) It's been a lazy day for me and I haven't gotten ANYTHING done. I stayed up all night, not really by choice but just couldn't sleep. I was planning to stay up all day so I could go to bed early tonight and get back on a normal sleep schedule but I fell asleep for a few hours earlier.
Something good did come of me not getting much sleep however. I have almost finished another kit! Yay!!
Here's a few snaps of it just for a lil teaser..
It should be completely finished in a day or so and in the store.. of course I'll let you know when that happens!

Now I have to show love for my other Sunshine Girls! They have some GREAT new stuff out over there that you NEEEED to go check out!

Claudi has this kit called Sonja out. It's just so bright and fun!
Monica has this absolutely GORGEOUS kit out, Crimson Gympsy. I know I'm about to go snag it up so I can make a layout with it!Lauren and Amy (Polka Dot Plum) just released Road Trip.. it's just perfect timing for all of those summer vacations!! I love all the elements in this kit!

All pictures are clickable ;)

Well... I need to get up and go eat and be productive so that's all for now. I'm getting my CT together and Wow is all I have so say! I'm sooo happy with everyone that has applied so it's going to be a tough decision!! LOL... really gone now... later readers!! :)

Vibrant Spirit

My kit now has a named, you guessed... Vibrant Spirit. Julie was the lucky one! She's actually the first person that posted a name and it just stuck with me. Julie, please send me an email at akp_02 (at) yahoo (dot) com and I'll give you a coupon for the kit! :)

For everyone else... how about 15% off the kit? I hope that will work for you! It's in the store now here. Just use the coupon code LoveMyReaders for the discount! Thank you for all of the wonderful suggestions and I'm sure I'll be using more than one of them for later kits.

Check back tomorrow and I should have some matching freebies for the kit as well. Some of the wonderful Sunshine Sweeties helped me out with some stuff so I'm going to share with you! Now I must go clean (blah!!!!) so I'll "see" ya later!

Name Me!!

Hello all!! I hope you're having a fantastic day (or had in my case b/c it's almost 1 a.m., you know my usual posting time lol)! I worked all day and then came home and finally finished a kit I've been working on for a few days! I was just STUCK and couldn't get anywhere on it! Now I'm stuck again and I need your help... My kit needs a name!!! Think you can help me out?

Here's how it'll work. I'll post a preview in just a moment and just leave me a comment with the best name you can think of! Whoever posts the name I choose gets the kit for free!! (Big Yay!! here lol) If I like your name and I think I might use it later, just not for this kit, then you may get a special gift as well ;) Oh and if the name I choose is posted by more than one person then only the first person that posted it wins!

Ok, ya ready???

Whatcha think? There's tons of stuff included in this kit... 12 papers and over 40 elements! So go ahead, hook me up with a great name!!

Oh, I must add.. You have to be quick lol. I'm going on vacation and I need to get this in my store by Friday morning so I'll pick a name Thursday night (don't worry I'm a night owl so it could be really late) :)

And... since you made it this far (in the reading process I mean lol) I have a freebie for ya! It matches this kit so you can get a sneak peak of it ;)

Well that's about it! I hope you enjoy and I look forward to seeing what names you all come up with! Later!! :)

Ack!!

Wow It seems like it's been forever since I've posted anything! I've been sooo busy! Of course I did the Sunshine Girls CT call. We had an amazing response! I'm sorry to those that didn't quite make it because of me closing the call early. I do want you to know that I'm still sorting through those "late" ones and will be offering some guest spots, so don't give up hope just yet! ;)

I've got a bunch of wonderful things going on right now and I can't wait to share the news with everyone :) But it must wait a little longer! Keep checking back though b/c you'll love it!

Oooh, I have to show off my layout lol. Monica will love me for posting it here. I'm on Monica's CT (mgl scraps) by the way (Squeeeeeeeeee!! <--just for her) Yesterday I downloaded one of her awesome Dreams in Colour collections from Elemental Scraps. I got "Potential" which is the black one. It's AWESOME! I already owned her Obsession kit and add ons too. A/w, so I was getting ready to make a layout for Monica and I couldn't find a picture I was satisfied with. My friend Sarah suggested "Scrap about me b/c you love me and I'm the coolest person ever..." LMFAO I think she was kidding but here it is lol
Both the kits are so easy to work with and so versatile!! Love them!

Ok anyway, I'm being bad and on here at work again so I better run. I have a freebie for you tonight when I get home though (yay!! finally, right?!)

In the spirit of a traditional Easter Egg hunt we've decided to send you on a little, and VERY easy, hunt for our freebies! Simply click on my egg and download my freebie... inside your download will be my portion of "Sunshine Sweets" along with the link to the blog of another Sunshine Girl (or guy! LOL) just follow that link and click on THEIR egg...their download will contain the link for the next blog... and so on and so on...

Oh! and what would be an Easter hunt without the GOLDEN EGG?? Somewhere during your hunt, you will download the Golden Egg, this link will take you to somewhere where you've NEVER been before, someplace NEW and VERY exciting!! This new place will have a great surprise for you (and only you, our loyal egg hunters)! This surprise will also contain a link that will help you continue on your hunt until at last your journey brings you back to my little blog... where your hunt will be complete!

HUGE freebie!!

Ok, well it's not ready YET but I have some great news! You may have already read this on the other blogs [of the Sunshine Girls], but we're working on another HUGE MEGA FREEBIE COLLAB for ya! It's going to be for Easter and it's FABULOUS! So that's why I haven't had another freebie... I'm trying to get stuff ready for this kit which will be well worth the wait!

I'm also in the process of trying to switch my blog over to WordPress so if something seems off in the next few days then just bare with me :)

Nothing new going on here other than that, really. I'm all settled in and really enjoying Texas. I'm loving my job so far, it's very interesting and laid back. I love how close I am to everything, only 10 minutes or less to anything I need. Of course, Dallas and Shreveport aren't too far away if we want to go out and have a fun weekend or whatever. So all is well with the move!
Alright, well better get back to work... keep checking back so you don't miss out on the mega freebie!!!

I have a blinkie!

Hi all! I know what you're thinking... I have internet and I'm STILL not around all the time, right? Well yesterday (and still today actually) I had the WORST migraine ever. I was having hot flashes and couldn't look at the computer for more than a few minutes at a time. Not fun at all! I feel a little better today so I'm going to try to get as much done as possible. Before I start all my work I had to share my new blinkie!!
I know it sounds crazy since I make them for everyone else but I can't make my own for anything. I asked the wonderful Sunshine Girls (from the freebie collabs) if they knew of anyone that could make me one and Monica's husband, Vasco, volunteered! How sweet of him!! :)

So I need everyone to go check out his blog, MoonScraps, and leave him some love! He just started scrapping and is doing a terrific job! :)

Ok well I have LOTS of blinkie orders to get done and then hopefully I'll have time for a freebie ;)
