Since I'm learning to make scrapbook stuff I was debating making a new blog for freebies or just using this one. I decided to just use this one so I'm going to go ahead and post my first freebie for you! I made this a few days ago.. it's not much but I hope it is somewhat useful!

I made a new scrapbook page using Kay Miller's Love Bug kit. It's sooo cute! I got it last week but haven't had anything I wanted to use it on yet. I ended up using one of my wedding pictures. Excited!

I definitely think I've found a new passion with digi scrapping! I've made me a few more personal scrapbook pages but I'm LOVING learning to make kits myself! There's so much to learn, I don't know if I'll ever figure it all out. I think that's what I like though. I've done it all with siggy making... well all I want to do anyway. Now it's just the same layouts over and over again with different colors and different pictures. But scrapbooking... there's an endless amount of possibilities!

I've been spending a lot of time reading scrapbooking blogs and ran across a very talented lady at http://sugarsnapscraps.blogspot.com/ She has AWESOME freebies! But she posted the other day about new designers making a holiday kit together for a big freebie... sounds good to me, where do I sign up?! So I emailed her and the kit is in the works :) There's 9 other designers. I feel so very new b/c honestly I don't know much of anything yet lol but they all seem very nice and I can't wait to get started! Maybe I'll learn a thing or two from them!

Well on another note... I came home sick from work today. Yes, I'm sick and I'm STILL on the computer! I've been feeling bad for a few days but it hit me hard today. So here I am in bed... and where is my hubby? No idea! He never calls before he goes anywhere... MEN!! Well I'm going to attempt to get some rest! Holla!

Lost my creativity...

I haven't made another siggy yet or blinkie or anything. I just can't come up with anything. One very cool thing is Shanna Moakler requested a sig from me on VIP!! I haven't filled the request yet, but I'm looking forward to it actually. Despite the fact that I can't think of ANYTHING to do with my other requests lol.

I did make a few scrapbook pages. I have 2 "real" scrapbooks but I haven't done much digi scrapping. I buy LOTS of sets but just rarely use them. I'll attach the one I made of me. I used a set from Designer Digitals made by Mindy (the BEST designer there). It just screamed my name so I had to buy it. I'm looking for some cute sets to do some wedding pages with now but nothing has jumped out at me just yet.

Anyway, I'm going to force myself to make a sig now.. it'll probably be hideous but I just don't know what has gotten into me.

Exhausted!

Well, haven't I been the little slacker lately? I am finally getting over my cold but now I have a headache. I've learned to live with those though. I made my first siggy in like a week tonight! I used this cute little frog set from Atomic Cupcake... I just love it! I feel like making a few more sigs tonight but I'm not sure if I have the energy. I've been extra tired since I caught this cold.

I have been researching scrapbook designing though. I found some very interesting sites and I've been doing tutorials. I made a few embellishments over the past few days. I'm loving it so far but it's going to take a lot of work and time to really get into it. It's fun though and different!

Well Justin will be here soon and I'd like to do another siggy before he gets here and complains about me being on the computer. Night!!

Stupid cold...

Yeah I got one now. I spent the weekend with a friend in Starkville (where Mississippi State University is) and woke up this morning feeling like crap. I guess it's the weather that keeps switching back and forth that got me sick. I just woke up from a nap and probably won't be too long before I head to bed for the night.

I did have a lovely weekend though. I love going to see Erin, I miss her a lot since she's at school. She'll be Dr. Rush (veterinarian) when she's done in about a year and a half. I road there with my friend Cyndi. We haven't talked much since we got out of high school... we both got married and she has a baby girl so I guess we're just busy. Life gets in the way sometimes. We got our done when we got there, which took FOUR HOURS!! Then drove around and showed Cyndi the town since she had never been. We ended up going out to the Hunt Club (popular CHEAP bar)... I ended up having to drive the two of them home and they passed out within 5 minutes of being in Erin's house. LOL Good times!! We got up at about 8 this morning and drove home and I've pretty much been in bed since.

Well I'm about to take some meds and sleep off this cold, I hope! Later...

Cookies and Cream Icecream with Chocolate Syrup

Yummm.. That's what I just finished eating :) I cooked spaghetti tonight and then we watched Grey's. I LOVE that show! It never gets old. Justin loves it as well so it works out. I had to record CSI but I'll watch it tomorrow I suppose.

Justin is watching American Gangster with my brother in the living room right now. I said I was going to sleep but of course I'm still up. I have an issue with insomnia. I am always exhausted all day and I get home thinking I'll go to bed early and always end up laying in bed until 2 a.m. Might as well spend it doing something productive lol like talking to Sarah and staring at the pictures in the sig request I have in my folder. I guess I'll have a busy night tomorrow catching up on all of the sigs I need to make. I haven't been inspired the past few days so it's taking me a long time to create anything. Seems like I spend 3 times more time just staring at the pics than I do actually creating the graphic. I'm taking a nice break though and going to Starkville to stay with my best friend Saturday and coming back Sunday. Maybe Sunday I will get a rush of creativity when I get home. :)

I also need to make some more holiday card samples for my site. It's doing well but I know the holiday rush is coming up so I'd like some more up soon. I'll have to do that tomorrow... maybe! Well I'm going to TRY and go to sleep.. night!!!
